Overview

This integration allows you to connect your ELD with Axele and track the Hours of Service and locations of your drivers. You can also import all your drivers directly from your ELD provider into Axele instead of creating them manually.

Integration Steps

Follow these steps within Omnitracs and Axele to complete this integration.

Within Omnitracs

Before you can integrate, you’ll need to create a user within your Omnitracs account to generate a User ID, which you will add to Axele. Please find the steps below.

Creating the user

  1. Login to your Omnitracs admin account
  2. Go to the Services Portal homepage
  3. Click Administration in the upper right
  4. On the Setup Users page, click the Create User button located in the middle of the page
  5. Enter a User ID, such as Axele
  6. Assign this user to the Role of Admin
  7. Uncheck the Allow User Interface Access box
  8. Set the Password
  9. Create the user

Hours of Service permissions

  1. Go to the Hours of Service section
  2. Click the Administration tab
  3. Click the Web Services User section
  4. Enter your User NameFirst Name, Last Name, and Password

Record your Company ID and new User ID, which will be used within Axele. Please find the steps below.

Within Axele

Follow these steps once you have created your new Omnitracs User ID:

  1. Login to Axele as an Admin
  2. Go to Settings > Integrations > ELDs > click the blue Add ELD Integration button
  3. Within the ELD Provider field, select Omnitracs
  4. Add your Company ID, new User ID, and Password within their respective fields (see the image below)
  5. Click Add
